An axial flow pump discharges water at the rate of 78m^3/min and
runs at 550 rpm. The total head is 10 m. Assume blade velocity of
22 m/s, the flow velocity of 4.5 m/s, the hydraulic efficiency of
0.87, and the overall pump efficiency of 0.83, find (a) the power
delivered to the water, and power input, (b) the impeller and tip
diameter, and (c) the inlet and outlet blade angles for the
rotor.
