Calculate the water flow in gpm of a centrifugal pump with the following characteristics: N= 2400 rpm, impeller diameter of 10 inches; span between decks at outlet of e= 1 3/4 inches. Backward curved blades, b2= 30 degrees. There is no tangential component of the water velocity at the inlet. The pump is moved by a nominal 150 HP motor and the global efficiency of the motor-pump group is 65%.
