Q. No. (2): (i) - Show diagrammatically the development of boundary layer over a flat plate in uniform flow at zero incidence showing one velocity profile in both laminar- and turbulent flow regions and define: 8, 81, 82, H12, Cfo and Ca. .....(10 Marks) 4 (ii) = A thin flat plate 40 by 80 cm is immersed in a stream of water, (p = 1000 kg/m³, v 106 m²/s), at a velocity 2.5 m/s. Compute using Blasius results for laminar boundary layer 8, 81, 82, H12, Cfo at the plate end and the plate viscous drag in Newtons if the plate side parallel to the stream is the short side. Assume Recrit = 106. ....(10 Marks)
