A six pole squirrel cage rotor induction motor has Y connected
stator and a Δ connected rotor, with the same number of conductors
on each. The rotor resistance and reactance at standstill are 0.25
and 0.95 ohms per phase respectively. If the voltage impressed on
the stator is 220 and the frequency is 60 cycles, calculate: (a)
Rotor current at starting. (b) Rotor current when the speed is 1100
rpm. (c) The equivalent resistance per phase of the load.
