2. A uniform plane wave with H = H, y propagates in vacuum in the +x direction. Assume that H, is sinusoidal with a frequency 70 MHz and has a maximum value (H) of +3 x 10* (A/m) at t=0 and x = 0 (m). (a). Write an instantaneous expression for H (using either sine or cosine function) for any t and x. [2] (b). Calculate VxH. [4] (c). Calculate the instantaneous expression for E using the result in (b) and the differential form of Ampere - Maxwell Law. [4] (d). Calculate the wavevector & (rads/m) and angular frequency (rads/s). [2] @ (e). Plot the E and H field waves in a xyz cartesian coordinate system, specifying the positive maximum locations for E and H. Plot at least one wavelength. [4] Explain how you could modify the E field so that you could change this uniform plane wave to an elliptically polarised wave. [4] (2+4+4+2+4+4= 20 marks)
