The College is looking at improving the performance of its Learning Management System (LMS) when it replaces the hardware it runs on this May. The product, Whiteboard, supports the following databases: MS SQL • MySQL • Oracle Users expect the system to have high availability and be very responsive. The current SLC SAN supports both FC and iSCSI. Make a report of recommendations to decision makers about how to improve performance. At a minimum, you must consider: ● Which DBMS ● The hardware that the DBMS runs on (or doesn't) • High Availability • Usage (how many users may use it at a given time, peak periods, etc) ● Backups Length: I don't count words or pages. Use what you need to effectively make your case.
