2.The company GDL Pinturas produces solvent-based varnishes for interiors that improve resistance to discoloration and mechanical da se products are: Polyurethane Varnish and Resin Varnish. To maximize profit, they mix the solvent with alkaline water (in addition to o ingredients). The following table shows the percentages, maximum daily availability and utility per 20-liter bucket produced. % of liters of raw material per product per 20 liter bucket maximum availability Polyurethane Resin Varnish Type of Raw Material Solvent varnish (m³) 30% 20% 24 Alcaline water 5% 10% 0.6 Utility/bucket (USD) 500 400 Conversion: 1m 1000 Lts A market survey indicates that the daily demand for Resin Varnish should not exceed the demand for Polyurethane Vamish by more than 100 buckets. Likewise, the total maximum demand (in liters) of Polyurethane Varnish must not exceed 2 m3 (in finished product). GDL Pinturas intends to formulate an integer programming model to determine the optimal combination of (complete) buckets to be produced in order to maximize the total profit (utility) obtained on the day. For this model: a) Determine and correctly define the decision variables to be used. (7 points) b) Correctly determine the objective function. (5 points) c) Correctly determine the corresponding restrictions, specifying what each of them refers to. (12 points) d) Correctly determine the nature restrictions of the variables. (6 points)
