Post by answerhappygod »

Air source heat pumps (air-air or air-water) are not suitable in
climates where the outdoor temperature is below freezing for
several months of the year. Therefore, no heat pumps of this type
are installed. Instead, rock or geothermal heat pumps can be used,
but these are more expensive. In the central and southern parts, on
the other hand, the climate is more favorable for air source heat
pumps. Plot the maximum efficiency (COP) for a house with the
indoor temperature 20 C and the outdoor temperature in the range +
- 20 C.
