This method of implementing a CPU where some of the
characteristics are as described below is called ___?
1. Some instructions are sort of "complicated," e.g., the CPU
may have an instruction which calculates the roots of a quadratic
equation given the three coefficients.
2. There are many different ways of specifying the locations of
instruction operands in order to provide programmers as much
flexibility as possible.
3. Some instructions will complete in 1 clock cycle, some in 2
clocks, some in 3 clocks, etc., i.e., the number of clocks varies
from instruction to instruction.
