Project description: Your company has been awarded a contract to install a 5 MW 'community renewable energy farm' in Leicestershire. You have been assigned as the Project Manager for this installation which must take place during the summer time (April-Sept in 2023). Your job is to manage the delivery of the entire project within the agreed price and on time before the winter weather makes concrete foundation construction difficult. Using the location-related and project financing information from your Assignment A activity, and making reasonable assumptions on your Project delivery plan, prepare a Project Initiation Document (PID, i.e. a high-level project planning document for presentation to the Selection Committee), showing how your team will complete the installation on time and to budget, as well as highlighting any relevant risks and their impact on the overall project payback.
