Several big-ticket categories are going to make up a vast
majority of an event’s budget. Those categories include: venue
rental, accommodations (hotels), meals, transportation, ancillary
events, equipment, and staff salaries. Big-ticket items, though,
are not the only items that go into an event budget. Awards is an
example of a cost that is not considered a big-ticket category but
would need to be budgeted for if you event is providing awards.
Similar to an award, what are some other categories that you should
factor into your budget that wouldn’t be considered a big-ticket
category.
