2. Consider the three - bar truss shown in Figure 2. The material of the bar has Young's modulus E = 210 GPa. The cross-sectional area A, height and width of frame H, and concentrated load P is given in the Table 2. Each student has to use different value as given in the Table 2. Using three linear finite elements by assigning your own nodes and elements number, (a) Calculate the structural stiffness matrix K for the entire frame. (10 Marks) (b) Solve for the unknown displacements. (6 Marks) (c) Compute the stress in all elements.
