Problem 1: (40 points) Water is flowing from the tank into a series of pipes and then into the atmosphere through 75 mm-diameter nozzle as shown in figure. Calculate the pressure P and the height H for the system. Neglect losses. Burda Free jet SOE roblem 2: (30 points) If a horizontal force of 890 N is developed by the water jet leaving the pipe on the 90 deflector plate shown in figure below, what is the power produced by the turbine knowing that its efficiency is 90%. Neglect losses. Problem 3: (30 points) An oil (S-0.85, v= 1.8x10 m³/s) flows through 0.1m diameter pipe at 2m/sec, 15 long.
