A1 [4 Marks] GLARE is a "Glass-Reinforced" fiber metal laminate, composed of thin layers of metal, usually aluminium interspersed with layers of unidirectional glass-fiber reinforced epoxy (GF/EP), which has been used for manufacturing of the fuselage of modern aircrafts.
