A 60 kVA 1200:240 single phase transformer dissipates 1.6 kW
when the secondary is
open circuited. The resistance of the primary (high voltage)
winding is 0.8 ohm and the
resistance in secondary is 0.04 ohm. Calculate the efficiency of
transformer when it
supplies full load at 0.8 power factor lagging.
