You have been hired by a family-owned local coffee shop and asked to help automate a discount program. They wish to reward customers who purchase multiple items with a discount and serve as incentive to customers to purchase additional items. For example, if someone orders a specialty coffee (their highest selling item) they want to increase the chances for that customer to buy a brownie or a piece of banana nut bread or even a sandwich. It will help increase the value of each sale and the interaction of their staff with each customer (that is, if the customer purchases additional items that employee's time resulted in a greater financial return than if they only purchased one item). The discount information is as follows: You will accept the input from the cashier (user) as these are items they are in the process of purchasing. Purchase a single item, like a specialty coffee, no discount. Purchase two items receive 10% off both items. Purchase three items receive 15% off each item. Purchase four items receive 20% off of each item. Purchase more than 4 items receive 20% off each item and a coupon for 20% off another item at a later date (Coupon for 20% off one item). All purchased items must be in the same transaction to qualify so do not worry about someone buying a specialty coffee and doughnut for breakfast and returning and purchasing a sandwich and iced tea for lunch. That would be two separate transactions of two items each and would therefore qualify for 10% off both items each time.
