In many systems, a PIR sensor is used to indicate that a person is in front of a door. The following embedded system is based on microcontrollers which will achieve the following steps: Test the PIR sensor signal(=1?). The PIR sensor is connected to bit0 of port PO. If it is equal 1 activate a 9 second delay (increment from 0 to 9) shown on 7-segment display connected to port P2 as presented below.
