Go to the above named website (feel free to find other reputable
websites) and put together a spreadsheet in a WORD DOCUMENT for
appropriate meals for the following age groups, one set of meals
for an underweight, normal weight, and over weight pediatric
patient. Plot their age, length and weight on growth chart
sheets (one for each body size in each category, for a total of 9
growth charts) to include with this project. The patients can be
male or female, your choice. You ARE TO COMPLETELY fill out the
growth chart you are using with demographics required as learned in
class. This will help you ensure that you have an underweight
patient, average weight patient, and an overweight patient. There
should be two days of full meals for EACH AGE GROUP AND WEIGHT. For
instance, an underweight infant may be 3 months old, 20 inches, and
weigh 7 pounds. Provide the length, weight, gender and age of the
patient before you put the pediatric pt on a growth chart. DO NOT
USE MY EXAMPLE IN YOUR PROJECT. You should have a total
of:
CATEGORIES
Infant (3 body sizes, 3 growth charts) TWO DAYS
OF AGE AND WEIGHT APPROPRIATE FULL DAY
MENUS equals a total of 6 menus
Toddler (3 body sizes, 3 growth
charts) TWO DAYS OF AGE AND
WEIGHT APPROPRIATE FULL DAY MENUS equals a total of 6
menus
Adolescent (3 body sizes, 3 growth
charts) TWO DAYS OF AGE AND
WEIGHT APPROPRIATE FULL DAY MENUS equals a total of 6
menus
Clarifying:
9 total patients (3 different body types per
category)
9 growth charts that you create the demographics and
size of your patient
Two full days, breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks for each
body type in each category
PUT THE ENTIRE PROJECT IN A WORD DOCUMENT THAT YOU HAVE
LABELED BY CATEGORY, BY MENU
