(a) Briefly explain the mathematical transformation that
describes this measurement process.
(b) Describe the principle of reconstructing the image from the
projections by filtered back projection. For this purpose, state
the individual steps to be carried out and explain why they are
necessary.
(c) How does the reconstructed image, which is formed by
reconstructing from unfiltered back projections differ from the
original image?
