genes are able to 'shut off' other gene segments (assume that
eukaryotes do have operons).
b) Draw a short segment of a gene (DNA) containing six
pairs of nucleotides. Re-draw this segment in two different
ways which would show how this segment could mutate. Name
each type of mutation drawn.
c) How does the mutation result in the activation of the
growth gene again?
