QUESTION 2 (PO2, CO3, C5) Three streams each containing a mixture of H₂SO4 and H₂O are combined in a mixing tank. The first stream has a composition of 10.0 w/w % H₂SO4, a temperature of 30.0°C and a flow rate of 4 kg/s. The second stream has a composition of 66.0 w/w % H₂SO4, a temperature of 10.0°C and a flow rate of 15.6 kg/s. It is targeted to produce a mixture with a composition of 60 to 80 w/w % H₂SO4 with a flow rate of 30 kg/s. Take temperature of 25°C for both third and product stream, evaluate the heat released/absorbed by the mixer. Heat capacity of H₂SO4 solution can be taken as heat capacity of pure water. (10 marks)
