(a)A heat engine consists of 2 moles of monoatomic gas. It expands from state 1, V1 =1 mº and P4 =40 N/m2, to state 2, V2 =4 m3 and P2 =10 N/m2 along a straight line path. It is then compressed to state 3, Volume V1 and pressure P2 at constant pressure. Finally, its pressure increases to P1 at constant volume to reach state 1. Compute the net work done by the gas during the cycle. What is the efficiency of the engine?
