2. A 5-kg block is at the top of a rough plane inclined at 40°. The coefficient of kinetic friction between the block and the incline is 0.2, the coefficient of static friction is 0.3. a) What minimum force (magnitude and direction) will prevent the block from sliding down? Present free-body diagram. Block is released. As the block slides down the incline: b)Find the acceleration of the block, present free-body diagram c)Determine the magnitude and the direction of the force of friction acting on the block. d)Assuming that block started from rest, calculate the change in the kinetic energy of the block, after it slid 3m down the incline.
