Zinc concentration was measured by AAS. The calibration curve
was determined to be: y = 0.045 x (μg/mL) + 0.0005. A 500 μL stock
containing 1000 mg/L Zn was added to a 100 mL groundwater sample as
the matrix spike and acid digested, and the absorbance reading is
0.2 against a DI water as a blank. The original groundwater has an
absorbance reading of 0.01. Calculate the percentage recovery.
