Task 2 - Design Response Spectra (Weightage 40%) Oman has not enough earthquake records for developing design response spectrum. You are requested to find a design response spectrum for different cities of Oman using approximate methods. The peak ground acceleration (ügo), velocity (ugo), and displacement ( ugo) have been estimated for each city as per Table 2. a. Plot the spectra on four-way log paper with damping ratio & b. Plot the spectrum for pseudo acceleration on log-log paper and determine the equations for A(T) for each branch of the spectrum and the periods values at the intersection of the branches c. Plot the spectrum of part b on a linear-linear graph for the range of T. from 0 to 10 seconds.
