(15 points) d) If the maximal allowable normal stress is 30 MPa, is the beam safe to carry the given loads ? justify your answer (5 points) e) Calculate the maximum beam deflection using : i. The double integration method (25 points) ii. The method of superposition (20 points) f) is the beam deflection within serviceability limit (6<L/250) (5 points)
