Normal and shear stresses are applied to a machine
member. Normal stresses: Sx = 50 MPa (tensile), Sy = -20 MPa
(compressive). Shear stress Ss = 15 MPa. Determine the orientation
in degrees of the maximum normal stress by solving for theta
subscript sigma. Include a negative sign if the computed angle is
negative.
