• Answer the following true or false Whenever there is an application of shear stress, the fluid would flow. A gas always forms a free surface when placed in a large container. The no-slip condition is a result of fluid viscosity. Within the boundary layer, the flow is always viscous. Inviscid flow can only be laminar. For a uniform flow, the flow field remains unchanged with time. With the known values of pressure and density, a state of a pure gas is determined. During vaporization, pressure and temperature are independent of each other. To avoid erosion due to cavitation bubbles, the pressure at any point in the system must be as low as possible. The higher the coefficient of compressibility k of a gas is, the less pressure it would need to compress the gas by a given volume.
