high-speed machining (HSM) for the manufacture of large, aluminium
alloy aerospace components.
(b) The accuracy of a component produced on a CNC machine is
dependent on many things including general machine set-up, tooling,
workpiece set-up and fixturing, machining strategy, operating
conditions etc. Give examples of good practice related to:
(i) Machining strategy
(ii) Tool setting
(ii) Fixturing
