Design and draw an electro-pneumatic circuit with 2 cylinders by Fluid Sim® program for the following operation steps: (1) As the initial positions, the Cylinder A is fully extended and the Cylinder B is fully retracted. (2) Start the system by pressing the main (detent) switch (turning on). (3) Wait for 1 seconds. (4) When the Cylinder B starts to extend, the Cylinder A starts to retract. (5) The Cylinder B performs the extending-retracting cycle 3 times (including the extending of B at Step 4). (6) As soon as the Cylinder B finishes retracting in the Step 5, the Cylinder A is extended. (7) Go to the Step (3) and repeat the operation. The cycle (steps 3 through 6) continues. When you want to stop the operation, press the main switch to turn off. The Cylinder Control Valves: Both control valves are n/3 (n ways/3 positions) with spring-returned at both sides (to get the middle position as default, in which all ports are blocked). You should determine n related to: → For the students who have school numbers ending with 7 or 9: • Cylinder A: Single Acting with spring-returned, retracting by spring Cylinder B: Double Acting.
