Ex.1: Determine the cooling load caused by roof and south and
west walls of a building at 1200, 1400, and 1600 h in July. The
building is located at 40°N latitude with outside design conditions
of 35°C dry-bulb temperature and a 11°C daily range. The inside
design dry bulb temperature is 25°C. Assume: -roof #4 (table 30)
with U = 0.9 W/m2.K (4m x 5m) -South Wall # 13 (table 32) with U
=0.51 W/m2.K (5m x 3.5m) -West Wall # 9 (table 32) with U =0.35
W/m2.K (4m x 3.5m)
