Shown in the figure is a shaft supported by two deep groove ball
bearings, which is driven by a gear in the right keyway, which
drives a fan in the left keyway. At steady state speed, the gear
transmits a radial load of 250 lbf and a
tangential load of 700 lbf at pitch
diameter of 8 inch.
Explain step by step how to obtain the torque and
