3. A 100KVA, 220V, star connected alternator is loaded at full-load and at 60% pf lagging. The effective AC resistance per phase is 0.014110. If the synchronous reactance is 4.5 times the effect of the armature leakage reactance wherein the later is 0.046 per phase, find (a) the phase voltage which would be generated at the load (b) What no-load open circuit phase voltage is required to circulate full-load current at short-circuit condition with no change made at the speed and field current? (c) What is the alternators terminal phase voltage at shorted load condition? Explain and justify your answer in one(1) sentence. Use la as the reference phasor. (for 60 points)
