Pspice Experiment #3 Due Date: See the Blackboard quarter folder. Turn in before 6pm at my office or at the department. a) Perform a frequency domain analysis (AC Analysis) for the circuit shown below. Frequency sweep is from 1Hz to 100kHz. 1) Place a trace for the voltage at node 2. Is this a High Pass Filter or a Low Pass Filter? Discuss. 2) Find the filter Cutoff frequency (-3dB or Half Power Cutoff Frequency). 3) Based on the Frequency Response Characteristics of this system obtained in part 1, find the amplitude and phase shift of the output sinusoid when the input sinusoid it is a 3kHz sinusoid of peak amplitude 10V. 4) Repeat for an input sinusoid at 500Hz and peak amplitude of 10V. b) Perform a Time Domain Analysis (Tran Analysis) and use at the input a sinusoid of 10 V peak amplitude and 3 kHz frequency. Verify that the output has amplitude and phase shift as measured in part 3). c) Repeat part b) for an input sinusoid of 500Hz and compare with part 4). C1 ? OV 0.1UF OV V1 10Vac OVdc R1 1k
