4. Suppose that host A sends N = 8 packets to host B using TCP. Sender and receiver window sizes equal to 5 packets and timeout value equal to 10 ms. The one-way propagation delay between host A and B, as well as from B to A, is 4ms, the transmission time of each data packet is Ims, and the transmission time of each ACK packet is 0 ms. Suppose that Packet No. 5 is lost, the ACK generated when packet 2 is received is also lost, and no other packet is lost. The sequence numbers refer to packets. In addition, assume that each TCP segment contains only 1Byte of data, the initial TCP sequence number is 1, and the sliding window size is a constant of size = 5. Ignore TCP congestion and flow control, but consider all other TCP connection management and reliability mechanisms including: delayed ACK (with the default delay 500ms), Fast Retransmit, etc. (a) The beginning of the space-time diagram is provided below, fill out the rest of the diagrams until all 8 packets are sent and acknowledged. Show all packets (transmissions, retransmissions and acknowledgements), their sequence numbers and the times they were sent/received 9ms 1 2 3 4 5 А B
