2. A six-pole de generator has a simplex wave-wound armature containing 36 coils of 12 turns each. The resistance of each turn is 0.02[12]. Its flux per pole is 0.21[Wb), and it is turning at a speed of 250[r.p.m.]. (a) (7 pts) Calculate the induced armature voltage (EA) and the effective armature resistance (RA) of the machine. (b) (6 pts) When the input power (Pin) is 11[kW], find the values of the applied torque (Tapp) and the armature current (IA). (Neglect the stray, the mechanical, and the core losses.) (c) (7 pts) Let a load resistor (RL) be connected to the terminals of the generator. Using the values found in (a) and (b), calculate the values of Rị, the armature loss (PA), and the brush loss (PBD). (Let VBD = 2[V].)
