HA-1: A PV System based on grid power plant of 50 MW capacity is to be designed with monocrystalline silicon solar cells based module of 12x6 cells matrix having 324W rating on full irradiation, measuring 2x1m2. (a) Calculate the total number of modules required in the PV System array. (b) If the cost of each monocrystalline module of 324W measuring 2x1m2, including all over head cost is 1000 SAR, then what is the total cost of the required PV-System power plant? (c) What is the total area required to install the PV System Arrays of the plant?
