Scenario You have just been recruited as the Chief Information
Officer (CIO) for a regional bank that is publicly traded, and
during the first few meetings with your Chief Executive Officer
(CEO) these issues are discussed.
4) The CEO has given you a list of projects that have been
submitted by various senior leaders for next year’s budget
considerations. These projects require system improvements or
outright system replacements.
4a) What technique would you use to organize and prioritize
these projects, so you can offer a high-level list of project
prioritization for the CIO to review? At a minimum, your
recommendation needs to have a category of projects that you most
highly recommend, and a category of projects that you do not
recommend.
