e... Nowadays, people are using less and less of a physical calendar/ notebook and completely diverting to an e-calendar, which can be accessed using technological devices. However, most of the calendar and planner applications that are available today are not made for specific customers, meaning they are all purpose apps, which makes them lack a focus on specific set of group/users. For our project, we propose the development of a 'Smart Daily Planner' application, which the main focuses are helping campus students with an optimized schedule, appointment reminders, such as: activity duration and location, assignment due dates, exam days, school events and finally a daily planner, where users can take a note of how their day went or else. This app will be interactive and user friendly for any user, but geared towards students, both college, and high school or middle school students. This app will be like a pop-up calendar that tells the user their day-to-day activities with reminders and would have no restrictions, like Wi- Fi or data; the calendar would be in real-time and accommodates the user based on the schedule. This Smart Daily Planner app will be extremely useful for people with very busy schedules and may have a difficult time keeping up with their appointments and obligations. Objectives • To provide an easy-to-use application that acts like a personal assistant by providing students(users) with an optimally planned day schedule. • Provide access to schedule anytime, anywhere with no restrictions. • Provide flexibility by re-computing an optimized schedule to accommodate change of plans by user.
