Introduction: The airline industry includes a diverse range of businesses known as airlines that provide air transportation services to paying customers or business partners. These air transportation services are provided for both passengers and cargo and are most commonly provided by jets, though some airlines also use helicopters. Airlines may provide scheduled and/or chartered services, and the airline industry is an important part of the broader travel industry, allowing customers to purchase seats on flights and travel to different parts of the world. Pilots, flight attendants, and ground crew are just a few of the career options available in the airline industry. Research objective: To gain a better understanding of consumer behavior while evaluating the purchase decisions of vacationing families. Address the key challenges the airline industry faced in applying marketing strategies in Saudi Arabia. Identifying solutions to overcome the key challenges the airline industry faced in marketing strategies in Saudi Arabia Important/needs of the topic: Any revenue management strategy seeks to sell the right product or service to the right customer at the right time, through the right distribution channel, and at the right price. This is also true in the airline industry, where companies track and analyze passenger behavior to predict demand. Once demand levels are predicted, airlines can focus on optimizing availability and adjusting pricing. For example, an airline can charge higher prices when demand is high, but lower prices when demand is low, to fill seats that would otherwise be empty. Adopting a revenue management strategy can thus assist airlines in increasing revenue as well as profits.
