11. Consider an animal cell with N=3, 2N=6 chromosomes. Draw the cell in metaphase and anaphase. Make sure to include the centrosomes, the spindle fibers, and sister chromatids where appropriate. 12. What are kinetochores? When are they added to the chromosome? 13. If a cell has 6 duplicated chromosomes at metaphase of mitosis, how many chromosomes will it have during anaphase? How many chromosomes will cach daughter nucleus have after telophase? When the centromeres split, cach sister chromatid becomes an independent chronosome. Until then, a duplicated chromosome is counted as one.
