Instructions 1. Samples from an ill patient were collected by a physician for testing. A bacterial infection is suspected. Using the unknown flowcharts, a microbiologist conducted various tests to determine the identity of the unknown bacterial isolate. The resulting data is included in this presentation. 2. Identify each test. 3. Referring to the unknown flowcharts, put the tests in the correct order, as they would be inoculated and observed in a clinical lab over a few days. 4. Write a purpose, method, data, analysis, and conclusion for each test. Be sure to log the data correctly, as we have done during the course. In your report, there should be one page for each test. In the data section, be sure to include a picture of the data. 5. At the end of your report, include an overall data sheet listing all of the data and an overall conclusion, where you identify the genus and species of the isolate based on the data. 6. The report must be written as a Word document. With 12 point, Times New Roman font, single-spaced. The margins must be 1-inch on all sides. 7. Number each page on the bottom right hand corner. Instructions 8. Include a cover sheet that is formatted as follows: Clinical Unknown Report
