The aim of this project is to help students apply the basic concepts of accounting to more specialized issues. You should understand and be able to analyse some of the issues involving the measurement of assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses as well as utilize the accounting reports to communicate the financial performance of a business Case Company: - Real company that is listed in a stock exchange - The company must be a multinational corporation Task: - Choose a case company - Get the Annual Report for that company and Analyse their Financial statements. Compare at least their 3 years performance - Analyse the performance of the case company using trend analysis and segment disclosures - Analyse their performance by means of financial Ratios and Metrics - Compare the Financial performance of the case company to the performance of another company (the second company must be I the same business sector and possibly almost the same capitalization)
