Neutrons are ejected at an angle of 90◦relative to the original beam direction protons. The kinetic energy of neutrons is 1.94 MeV.
(a) Calculate the Q of the nuclear reaction.
(b) Calculate the Maximum Energy of the emitted neutrons when the kinetic energy of the protons is 5 MeV and when it is 2 MeV
