I would like an explanation about the
physics that is happening inside the cold
finger, which is a cryogenic that goes to low
temperature. I would like to know when there are two pump connected each other (a mechanical one that goes up to
the pressure of 10^-3 mTorr connected to the diffusion bomb and the
diffusion go to a lower pressure of 10^-6 mTorr, the diffusion bomb connected to the cold finger. They used
thermodynamics to explain the physics
behind this and would like a full explanation.

difusion pump.
The cold finger have a two different pressure, one from the water vapour and the other one from the diffusion bomb
