General topic: So we are losing a record number of animal and
plant species because of our own actions, WHO CARES? What are the
values of these species that we are losing forever?
In answering the question I want you to
1) Build a case for conserving Earth’s biodiversity by
discussing the various values of biodiversity.
2) It will take financial and other types of resources to make
sure we lose as few species as possible; why is it worth it? Or is
it not worth it?
There is no right or wrong position, per se, but
since this is a science class I would like to see you stick more to
points for which there is evidence rather than your opinion.
