Requirements: • Think of the best way to represent the history of the Earth • If you decide to create a linear timescale, make sure it is large enough to fit all the information. • The time scale must represent Earth's entire history/geology (4.5 billion years), but you should expand upon the Phanerozoic eon. • Time scale(s) must be proportional All eons, eras, periods and epochs must be represented with labels and boundary lines . You must include at minimum 15 significant events in Earth's history/geology for each person in your group. (Make sure that each fact has a name attached!!) . Each of these occurrences will have a small blurb of relevant information (~75-150 words), an approximate date / time range, and a diagram/picture Significant events may include, but are not limited to, major geographic events, major successions of life, and mass extinction events. Suggestions: Origin of the Earth, First single- celled organisms, first organisms with shells, Trilobites become dominant, first fishes, first land plants, Creation of coal swamps, Dinosaurs become dominant, First angiosperms, KT extinction event, the development of hominids
