2) You perform an in vitro translation reaction. In your reaction pre-mix, you include all the translation factors, ribosomes, amino acyl tRNA mixture and a renewable source of GTP. a) In a first experiment, you add to the pre-mix a mutant version of the B-galactosidase mRNA where a stop codon interrupts the normal open reading frame. You use an excess of mRNA. Some errors during translation allows the ribosome to "read through the stop codon and an active form of B-galactosidase is produced. The following graph shows the B-galactosidase activity at the end of the in-vitro translation reaction under two different conditions: presence or absence of a drug that increase the rate of translation, which bar (A or B) on the graph represents the assay that included the drug?
