4. 0.05 ml of a 10-6 dilution plated in duplicate yielded 93 and 136 colonies? 5. 0.2 ml of a 10-1 dilution plated in duplicate yielded 2 and 7 E. coli colonies. 6. I prepared a serial dilution series by adding 10 ul of the original undiluted sample to 0.99 ml of sterile diluent. I then repeated this step once using the diluted sample (rather than the original sample). I then added 0.1 ml of the doubly diluted sample to 0.9 ml of sterile diluent. What is the total dilution of the original sample?
