Your friend is doing a research project and wants to quantify the amount of some protein released by macrophages in response to phagocytosis of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. She plans to use Western Blotting To ensure she loads the same amount of total protein lysate to from all her samples into individual wells of the SDS PAGE she plans to quantity total protein using the Bradford Assay.
